To celebrate the opening of our residential program in Boise, Idaho, we're offering a special opportunity for our first generation of residents and their families.
30% Off Residential Fees for Your First 90 Days
$420 per day (regularly $600 per day)
Through our 2026 Founding Resident Program, eligible residents receive 30% off our standard residential daily rate for their first 90 days at SMH Academy.
This special rate is available to clinically eligible private-pay residents admitted by December 31, 2026.
What Does Your Residential Fee Include?
Our residential program provides a supportive, structured environment where young men ages 18–25 can focus on personal growth, mental wellness, and developing greater independence.
Residential fees include:
Comfortable residential accommodations in our small, supportive home
Meals, groceries, and household essentials
Residential staff support and daily structure
Life-skills development and independent living activities
Executive functioning and routine-building support
Recreational activities and community engagement
Individualized residential programming
Medical, psychiatric, psychotherapy, laboratory, pharmacy, and other separately billed clinical services are not included in the discounted residential rate.
Who Is Eligible?
The Founding Resident Program is available to individuals who:
Are young men ages 18–25 who meet SMH Academy's admission criteria
Are clinically appropriate for our residential support model
Are admitted by December 31, 2026
Enroll as private-pay residential residents
All qualifying residents admitted during the promotional period are eligible.
A Simple Admissions Process

2. Complete Pre-Admission Screening
Our team will review your application and assess whether SMH Academy is an appropriate fit. For qualified applicants, screening and admissions coordination can often be completed within 48 hours on weekdays.
3. Begin Your Journey
Once approved and arrangements are finalized, our team will help coordinate your arrival and transition into the program.
